The R.E.D. Zone Give Me 20 Reading Challenge

To encourage early readers, each spring and fall we offer the Give Me 20 Challenge to our teachers and parents. The goal of the challenge is to build reading-readiness skills and develop an at-home reading routine over an eight-week period. The challenge is open to anyone who has a preschooler-it can be done individually or in the classroom-no restrictions.

Spring Challenge

Dates: March 5-April 27, 2018

Celebrate brave, courageous, and creative women with us this spring as we feature new stories from HarperCollins Children's Books for our Give Me 20 Challenge. Read Shaking Things Up: 14 Young Women Who Changed the World by Susan Hood, Hidden Figures: The True Story of Four Black Women and the Space Race by Margot Lee Shetterly, Mae Among the Stars By Roda Ahmed and I am Enough by Grace Byers over the eight weeks of the challenge.

The goal of the challenge is to read to your class or child(ren) twenty minutes a day, five days a week during the eight-week challenge. Complete the challenge and you’ll be entered for a chance to win one of fifty prize packs that include copies of the featured books and a Pizza Hut gift card. Official Rules.
